2021 Belles Final Teams Selected

The Philadelphia Belles National Travel Team girls basketball program selected the teams to represent the Philadelphia Belles as they compete in the Eastern US and across the country.

The Belles will feature another strong roster up and down the program especially after the younger teams dominated in winter competitions.  The high school age teams took longer to put together due to the uneven state and regional high school programs on hold due to covid concerns.

Players who have come to the Belles 2020 Fall Workouts and 2021 Winter workouts along with returning players will make up the bulk of the teams.

Coaches will be calling players starting Monday evening and through Wednesday to learn if players are prepared to compete on a high National and Regional platform.  The Belles look to compete against teams from every circuit this summer from Nike EYBL to Adidas to Under Armor and even the Blue Star League and Chosen Circuit.

Belles Team practices will take place this weekend and you will be notified by your coach of the place and times.

  1. Good Afternoon- my daughter, Molly Pegg, is very interested in joining the Belles National team, she is a 6’1 rising ninth grader. She came to the work out last Sunday. Any advice you could give?

    1. I would speak with Coach Andrea Peterson as she can provide you with the best information. 215-840-6515 And thank you for your email and interest in the Belles – Mike Flynn

  2. When you lookup Maryland Belles basketball player, her picture should pop up. In my almost 20 years of coaching, Bri is on my Mount Rushmore of kids I truly enjoyed coaching. Reread! She is just a fantastic young lady who has great personality and enthusiasm for life. Brianna’s positional versatility really allowed us to be explosive on offense and defense. At 5’9”, she was able to play guard, wing and stretch 4 due to her athleticism and toughness. I’ve watched Brianna grow into a very consistent player who just know how to win. She has range beyond the arc, elite speed with and without the ball, and finishes well around the rim. We are looking forward to supporting Bri at Chestnut Hill College where I am sure she will excel and become a huge part of their program. The Maryland Belles 2024 squad faced stiff competition at USJN HERSHEY over the weekend. In the first game they emerged victorious with a 44-42 OT victory against a tough Philadelphia Belles – Steidle team. Read More
